[edit] Change Authcode

The .NL registry (SIDN BV) does not allow registrars to reset the auth code for a .NL domain, this can only be requested by the registrant of the domain. In exceptional cases, it can be done without the consent of the registrant but a clear (legal) reason to request a new auth code of the domain is needed.

To request a new auth code you will need to supply the registry with:

  • Individual:
    • Copy ID of the registrant
    • Signed consent (written, email) from the registrant for the generation of a new auth code.
  • Company:
    • Copy ID of the requester / CEO of the company.
    • Signed consent (written, email) from the CEO of the company according to a COC / Business registration document for the generation of a new auth code.
    • Copy COC / Business registration document less than 3 months old.

[edit] NameserverCheck

Configured nameservers are required by the registry. A nameserver check is available here https://zonemaster.net/domain_check, enable options do specify specific nameservers.

Please note that the registry performs the nameserver check. If this registry-check fails, you will have 7 days to correct your DNS configuration. Our system triggers a new nameserver check every 24 hours.

Restore Process

To restore a domain as a RegistrarOC customer, you simply have to execute the RestoreDomain command. HEXONET directly forwards the restore request to the registry, which performs the restore in real-time. As soon as the restore is complete, the domain will get assigned to your account with the original domain data.

Please do not initiate a restore directly at the registry (e.g. using the registrar webinterface). All restore operations must be performed through our system.
