Restore Domain

Restores can be processed in realtime. A restore is possible within 90 days upon deletion. Please use the command RestoreDomain.

Ownerchange

All contact information with the exception of registrant Name, Firstname and Organisation can be updated through the ModifyDomain command.
In order to change the owner you have to request a trade with the TradeDomain command. This can be done through our web interface or through our API:

command = TradeDomain
domain = <DOMAIN>
ownercontact0 = <CONTACT>

Upon successfully trading the domain, the registration date will be reset by the registry. The new registration date will be 1 year in the future.

Transfer

You need to request a domain password on https://domadmin.rotld.ro/passwd_rec.html?lang=en which is sent to you by Email. Please forward this password to our support team at [email protected].

Authorization Code policy

The Auth Code has to contain:
1. Between 6 and 40 characters
2. At least one CAPS LOCK letter A-Z
3. At least one small letter a-z
4. At least one special character (for example : @!?%,.)

Deletion

In order to delete a domain name, the domain holder must send a signed letter to the .ro registry, at the following address:

   ICI - Registrul de Domenii .RO
   Bd. Averescu 8-10 Sector 1,
   Bucuresti, 011455 Romania.
   Tel: +40.21316 0762
Fax: +40.21316 10 84

If the domain holder is a company, the letter must contain:

   - The domain deletion request of a .RO domain name owned by a company
   - The company registration certificate (with the registration number)
   - The ID copies of the legal representatives who signed the letter

If the domain right of use owner is a person, the letter must contain:

   - The domain deletion request of a .RO domain name owned by a person
   - The ID copy of the domain right of use owner

After the ROTLD receives the documents, the domain will be scheduled for deletion in 60 days since the deletion request has been processed. Only the domain holder may request the deletion of a domain name. After the deletion, a domain name can be registered by other persons.

Restore Process

To restore a domain as a RegistrarOC customer, you simply have to execute the RestoreDomain command. HEXONET directly forwards the restore request to the registry, which performs the restore in real-time. As soon as the restore is complete, the domain will get assigned to your account with the original domain data.

Please do not initiate a restore directly at the registry (e.g. using the registrar webinterface). All restore operations must be performed through our system.
