Domain Transfer

Ownerchange

An Ownerchange for uk as well as for .co.uk can only be done by the registrant on side of the registry NOMINET directly: https://secure.nominet.org.uk/auth/login.html

TLD specific

Transfer In procedure

First of all a transfer should be requested for the respective domain name with the TransferDomain.

Then the registrant of the domain name has to contact his current registrar and ask him to change the 'Registrar-Tag to 1API-DE. As soon as this has been completed, the domain name transfer will succeed automatically. Please note that when a .UK domain is transferred successfully, the remaining registration period remains unchanged. Please do not forget to initiate the transfer in our system, otherwise the domain can not be assigned to your account and will not be renewed.

Transfer Out procedure

Please contact the gaining registrar to determine their Registrar-Tag and then use the PushDomain command or Control Panel to Push the domain to that new tag. Please note that pushing a tag is irreversible and cannot be cancelled. You must either contact the registrar who it got pushed to, or the registry.
