TLD specific

Authorization code

There are special requirements regarding the format of the authorization code. Please consider the following restrictions, if you want to assign a new authorization code to a .COM domain:

• Minimum 8 characters
• having at least one (1) numeric,
• one (1) alphabetic, and
• one (1) special character

You may generate a valid random auth code by adding this parameter to the ModifyDomain command:

Countries not Permitted

Registrations from the following countries are not permitted and all future contact creation attempts will be rejected by the registry. Contacts from these countries can also not be assigned to the Admin, Technical, or Billing contact places.

• Cuba
• Iran
• Syria
• Sudan
• South Sudan
• North Korea
• Crimea Region

All domains that currently have contacts with addresses from these countries will be suspended and cannot be transferred or renewed until the contacts have been updated. The effective date of this policy is August 10, 2018
