Domain Transfer

There is a special procedure to handle a domain transfer. Please contact our Support-Team if you should need further information.

To transfer a domain, it is required to provide the following parameters:

Delete Domain

Domains can be deleted with the API DeleteDomain command.
There is no Deletion Restorable Period.

In order to change the owner you have to request a trade with the TradeDomain command. This can be done through our web interface or through our API:

Registration

To complete a registration order of .IE domain you have to be send following additional information:

Important:
The domain name must correspond to the company name.
Example: product - proof required, company name, etc.

Transfer procedure

First of all a transfer should be requested for the respective domain name with the TransferDomain command API .

Then the registrant of the domain name has to contact his current registrar and ask him to change the so-called Registrar-Tag to 1API-DE. As soon as this has been done, the domain name transfer will succeed automatically. Please note that when a .UK domain is transferred successfully, the remaining registration period remains unchanged. Please do not forget to initiate the transfer in our system, otherwise the domain can not be assigned to your account and will not be renewed.

To complete an ownerchange order of .IE domain you have to be send following additional information of the new owner:
