Domains can be registered in Real-Time with the API AddDomain command.

[edit] Domain Transfer

The transfer has to be initiated by the gaining registrar and can be requested with the API TransferDomain command.
A valid Authorization Code must be provided to initiate a transfer successfully.
Domain transfers are processed in Real-Time.

Upon successfully transferring the domain, the registration date will be reset by the registry. The new expiration date will be 1 year in the future.

Domains can be deleted with the API DeleteDomain command.
There is a Deletion Restorable Period of 40 days.

The authcode of a .BE domain must be requested from the registry by using the following command:

The registrant of the domain will receive an e-mail with the corresponding auth code.

The registry does not support transferlocks! The lock at HEXONET is only used for USERTRANSFERS inside HEXONET.

It is possible to restore .BE domains which had been deleted by another registrar. This "transfer from quarantine" can be manually initiated by our support team for the doubled cost of a normal restore.

The contact commands (AddContact, ModifyContact) may contain two additional parameters for registrarOC customers:

x-be-vat = <Belgian VAT ID>
x-be-lang = <country-code (EN, FR or NL)

x-be-vat defines the VAT ID of the contact,
x-be-lang defines the language of the contact,
which also will be displayed in the .BE Whois

Restore Process

To restore a domain as a RegistrarOC customer, you simply have to execute the RestoreDomain command. HEXONET directly forwards the restore request to the registry, which performs the restore in real-time. As soon as the restore is complete, the domain will get assigned to your account with the original domain data.
