Domain Transfer

The transfer has to be initiated by the gaining registrar and can be requested with the API TransferDomain command. A confirmation email will be sent out by the registry to the registrant. After the registrant has confirmed the transfer, it will be processed in real-time. Australian domains typically take up to 48 hours to transfer, provided there are no issues with the transfer such as incorrect details. This also depends on AusRegistry who handle the transfer but almost always it is within 48 hours.

Delete Domain

• COM.AU: For Australian registered companies or a trading under a registered business name in any Australian State or Territory or an Australian partnership or sole trader or a foreign company licensed to trade in Australia or owners of an Australian Registered Trade Mark or an applicant for an Australian Registered Trade Mark or associations incorporated in any Australian State or Territory or Australian commercial statutory bodies
• NET.AU: same as for .COM.AU
• ORG.AU: For a charity operating in Australia or a non-profit organisation operating in Australia
• ID.AU: For Australian Citizens and Australian Residents

Change of Registrant (Trade)

If you are RegistrarOC customer, you have to activate pending domain trades after receiving the fax form with the ActivateDomainTrade command. As RegistrarOC customer, you have the possibility to customize our fax form with your logo and your fax number.

Restore Process

To restore a domain as a RegistrarOC customer, you simply have to execute the RestoreDomain command. HEXONET directly forwards the restore request to the registry, which performs the restore in short time. As soon as the restore has been completed by the registry, the domain will get assigned to your account with the original domain data.
